The single most unifying day in American history - with the possible exception of 9/11 - was arguably December 7, 1941, when the Imperial Japanese Navy bombed Pearl Harbor. Irrespective of any malfeasance, real or imagined, on the part of the Democratic administration at the time, after a long decade of misery and depression, every American was eager to contribute as the country geared up for war. When it all was over, America was a superpower. The unity of that day carried the country for a quarter century of the most prosperous years any nation has ever known, riding high on the back of good old American capitalist consumerism. How ironic, then, that November 8, 2016 - just four weeks short of the 75th anniversary of that infamous day - should prove to be the single most divisive day in our storied history?
With the election of Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States the voters in this country spoke out against the socialist, far-left, globalist ideology that the Democratic party has been poisoning our Republic with openly since the 1960's and covertly for far longer. Many saw the 2016 election as a 'do-or-die' moment in history, envisioning the election of Hillary Clinton as the final nail in the coffin of America as a free and independent country. Whether that would have proven true or not will never be known, but a close look at the the damage inflicted by the Obama administration indicates that, if the trend had continued, the slow erosion of American power, leadership, and sovereignty, along with the relentless revocation of personal liberties in favor of political correctness, would have likely resulted in America being just another nation in decline amidst the mono-cultural New World Order the power-brokers of the world seek to control.
Who would have thought something as common as a presidential election would cause such a radical response all across the country. When it comes down to it, it is hard to argue that Donald Trump's vision for America was all THAT bad:
Bring back jobs
Bring trade back into balance (or at least give American business a fair shot on the world market)
Quit trying to force democracy on the Middle East
Get rid of all the criminals that are here illegally living off the taxpayers dime
Acknowledge the threat of Islam and stop helping them do to America what they have done to Europe
Rebuild American infrastructure, and
Secure the southern border.
None of that really seems worth rioting or going to prison for for assault over. So I had to ask myself what it really was that had the liberal left in such a panic?

Looking back at the radical changes that America has gone through since I was a kid in the 1960's and early 1970's and especially over the past eight years, I remembered the one promise I left off the list above. Donald Trump intended to 'Drain the Swamp.' In that moment all the insanity over Russia, the absolute conviction that Trump had to go no matter what, the constant barrage of attacks by the media, the traps laid by the outgoing administration, the chaos across the nation, it all made sense. The left is afraid for it's very life. They recognize that they have no option but to take any risk, expend every asset, and press the attack regardless of consequence because their very survival is at stake.
What's more is that they felt that they were oh so close to sealing the deal. And in all honesty, they were. Had Hillary Clinton been elected and allowed to press the liberal agenda for four more years it would have been impossible to salvage this country. I just cannot even begin to understand why on Earth any class of Americans except very bottom who benefit from the social welfare programs, and the elite that administer them would support such an agenda. Doesn't the average middle class American Democrat understand that if the liberal plan is allowed to completely engulf this country that they lose? Surely they are not so stupid to believe that 'equity' means that the poor will be lifted to the level of the middle class? That is ludicrous. As long as the welfare state exists, in a society where the wealth is distributed equitably, there is no incentive to produce. Why work when you can lounge around all day and still maintain the same standard of living and social status as everyone around you? Look around at all the previous attempts to foster such an idyllic society. The result is always the same. You end up with two classes: The elite who administer the system, living luxuriously off the prime pickings of the collective wealth, and the destitute masses, who are lucky to avoid starvation as the dole becomes less and less over time. In the end it always results in revolt. And don't kid yourself people. You are NOT going to end up being one of the elite.
All the lousy losers really need to lighten the fuck up, step back and think rationally for a minute. What if Hillary had won?
By the end of her first hundred days:
Terrorists disguised as refugees who have no desire to be American would be pouring across our (non)borders in record numbers, padding the Democratic voter base, collecting welfare, waiting to die killing you.
Sharia law would be a legal defense for all the scumuslim cowards that abuse everything with a vagina, irrespective of age, state of awareness, or species.
The rewriting of the history books that has been going on at least since the hippies grew into yuppies and turned their liberal arts degrees into professorships, would be in full swing, promoting social justice, welfare, and Islam as the three things the world need most.
The assault on patriotism, individuality, and anything even vaguely resembling morality, character, or virtue would be packing prisons.
Miley Cyrus would be teaching your kids it is okay to wear nothing but a crot-chless leotard and masturbate with a microphone in front of 40,000 similarly mindless lemmings.
Crime would actually be legal in Washington DC, provided you were elected or appointed to a government office and you could prove people suffered due to your deliberate neglect of responsibility.
There would be no hope of recovery, except for the Clinton Foundation.
Corporations and businesses would be deserting the country, taking thousands of jobs that would not be worth having anyway as the working class got taxed until it was more advantageous to collect welfare than work. Unless you were in politics, of course. Those that administer the system of wealth redistribution are always exempt from its affects, but always first in line to skim the cream of the collective kitty. In the global economy the most extravagant whims of the elite have priority over even the most basic needs of the masses. The globalists seek only to impose globalism, not to participate in the grand equalization of mankind.
Donald Trump has the potential to be one of the greatest Presidents this country has ever seen, provided he can keep from being destroyed by the swamp monsters. He started off on the wrong foot though, when he said it was time to put the Hillary for Prison campaign to rest. That left a sour taste in every mouth that backed him, no doubt. It has proven to be a potentially fatal mistake since her inability to admit that America would never legitimately elect a proven irresponsible criminal like her to any office forced her delusional mind to fabricate the 'Russia did it' narrative that the complicit media eagerly grabbed on to as the reason she lost. It is literally amazing that with not one single shred of evidence, Trump all the sudden became responsible for all of her self-created 'bad luck'. Will someone please tell her Trump did not hack, release or write any of the emails that have tried so hard to open the eyes of the world to what it really means to be a liberal democrat in America?
The thing that pisses me off most (after the fact that Obama is the only president to ignore the concept of a peaceful transition of power - more proof he is not American, but more on that later) is that if not for all the hissy-fits and temper tantrums all the democrats are trying to distract everyone with, in the misguided hope that we might forget about all the proof that has come to light over the past year or so about the unfathomable depth of the deceit, corruption, depravity, and complete lack of any moral values that defines them, the world would recognize that Donald Trump is an outstanding President. But as long as the left controls the media, everyday average Americans are kept in the dark and fed an endless stream of bullshit about how evil he is which they validate using their previous lies as proof.... "See, you know he is racist because it was in the news last week!" But even after you print the same lies 100 times, the source is still a lie.

*The American Civil War (1861-1865) was not fought over the question of slavery directly, but rather over the right of any given state to, among other things, enforce long standing slavery laws within State boundaries and objection to potential Federal legislation outlawing slavery in new territories as a prerequisite to statehood, since this would, in effect deny future states the right to even consider what might be in their own best interest. The North/South division of the country was based on the economic ramifications of anti-slavery sentiment in the newly founded Republican Party which, following the election of Lincoln, was likely to enact legislation to supersede existing slave laws.
The true cause of the war lies in the fact that southern states decided to withdraw from the Union preemptively since standing law at the time permitted slavery, both in existing States as well as in the territories of the rapidly expanding country. With no legitimate argument to justify their position, seven states withdrew in February of 1861, just weeks before the new President was inaugurated in March.
Upon assuming office Lincoln proclaimed the
